We are an insurance licensing education school approved by the North Carolina Department of Insurance.  We conduct insurance classes in the following areas:  Property, Casualty, Life, Accident and Health, Adjusters, and Medicare/Long Term Care.  

Meet The Staff

Tammie

President / Owner

Tammie Grisso D’Allura, CPCU, CIC

Tammie has been in the insurance business for over 30 years.  She started her career as an underwriter in an excess and surplus company, a broker with Marsh & McClennan as an Assistant Vice President, and has been very successful with many start- up ventures over the past 20 years.   She owns an insurance agency in addition to this private insurance education school.  


Tammie has been teaching for over 30 years.   Being in the industry day to day gives her students real life examples of the insurance world.   She is very involved in the community and also sits on many boards regarding insurance education.

Vice President

John Wayne Hall, Jr

John provides expert assistance to students interested in enrolling in our pre-licensing courses and to students who are interested in the continuing education courses and requirements.  He is responsible for managing the school’s day to day operations and marketing.  John is licensed in all areas of insurance.

Jeffrey Oves, CLU

Jeffrey began his insurance career in 1997 as a property casualty adjuster. Over the next decades he has been an active agent in the fields of life, health, disability and long term care insurance. With over a decade in insurance instruction, he is able to effectively communicate the subject matter combined with real world application. He has also served the North Carolina Department of Insurance as a Subject Matter Expert on the state testing committee.


Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Arts from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH, and his Chartered Life Underwriter designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. Outside of the classroom he believes strongly in community involvement and has been active in leadership roles of organizations including The Boys and Girls Club, The Boy Scouts of America, Kiwanis and F3 Kernersville. In his downtime he like spending as much time outdoors a possible and creating art.
